Great for the most part. I didn't realize how good they were all around until I worked for a few other carriers. Very easy and predictable company to drive for. Not many 3300 mile weeks, but not many 2000 mile weeks either. Just a steady 27-2900 doing easy dry van loads. New freightliners, decent trailers, simple dry van freight, simple paperwork/dispatching system, one of the friendliest staffs I've dealt with. They're not the best at much, but they're decent at everything, if that makes sense. I'd recommend them to most anyone wanting to do OTR dry van

So hey I wanted to ask you, how are they coming along with the construction down there in memphis? If you cross the river on Interstate 55 are the exits over there at the 55 interchange all closed completely or what?bryan21384 Thanks this.
-
Sometimes the exits are closed at night. During the day it's a cluster. They seem to do more of their work at the night time. Going northbound is a little easier but still a mess. Are you having to make another delivery there?Professor No-Name Thanks this.

Yea I gotta deliver in Memphis on the Island in the morning. Was wondering if I could come in 55 or not cuz my load shifted when I had to Jack the brakes for a 4 wheeler in the construction near home. So I was a wanting to get my fuel before I went into the customer but can't cuz now my drives are right at 34k an the load had settled an won't shift back now. So I'll have to just go in on 40 an down to the bottom an east outta my way a bit to fill up at Love's down there an then back track a bit. I'd wait till morning to get it but I wanna get empty first thing an head to my reload so I can be a scootin towards home as early as possible. So fueling in the morning won't work.

Where did you pick up at?
-
Up near woodhull Illinois.bryan21384 Thanks this.
-
Well I won't have to go out of my way for fuel like I thought. For some reason I was thinking there was a eastbound scale on 40 before you cross the river into Memphis but there's only a westbound scale. So I'll be able to stop at the Love's there at West Memphis and fill up.bryan21384 Thanks this.

Oh ok....yeah you'll have to go into Memphis by going over the bridge on 40 to 240 back to 55 N. I'm looking at Google Maps and the exit past the bridge going southbound on 55 is closed and so is the road going east into town. Google Maps will route you through the city, and it's ok for trucks, but it's too many red lights. That route is OK for a 4 wheeler, but for a truck it's better to use 240 in my opinionProfessor No-Name Thanks this.

Ahhhh ok. Every once in a while the southbound scale on 55 is open, right before West Memphis, where it splits off but the mostly mess with the can haulers lol. I'll be glad when they finish that project at the bridge for real. Even going northbound is an adventure. It is so narrow where they have the concrete barriers that a driver pulling a te footer has to hold his breath lolmdmgolfin and Professor No-Name Thank this.

Well even if the scale on 55 southbound before West Memphis is open it's not a big deal because I'm legal for now. I just won't be legal once I fill up.bryan21384 Thanks this.
