My 2nd daughter had complications after birth. Now it's fine, but the first couple years of her life care and surgeries cost crap load of money. I met deductible every year not counting countless hours in hospital. Without insurance I would have been bankrupt or kid wouldn't not live

 

Had two aunt's that coughed themselves to death from TB in the day.

Also, if you did not health insurance, how did you pay for each baby delivery? It costs over $10k. Did you pay cash for that? How about doctors visits, who pays for that?

No fancy gym membership. Since i live 40 minutes from a gym, i brought the gym to me.

If you make arrangements ahead of time and let them know you’re paying cash most hospitals will give decent discounts. My nephew didn’t have insurance when his first kid was born and she cost him around $4500. Had insurance by the time the second one came and she was just under $12k.
