This Coke syrup plant in Atlanta is on par with Anheuser-Busch facilities. 6.5 hours and still waiting on a dock lol. I'm placing my bet on 10 hours to get out of here
Professor No-Name and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Update: Somehow my info got lost, deleted, forgot about or something. The reviews online were pretty bad, so I didn't think much of it, but glad I went inside for an update. After seeing a bunch of people that arrived at the same time as me get loaded and replaced by dropped trailers, I got concerned.
Headed up to Allentown, PA area for an ASAP delivery. Got sent the Carrier Link by broker already for a load that picks up Wednesday afternoon and delivers Friday afternoon in Moberly. Was surprised to get a reload headed north instead of back to MO. I guess it'll be another few days of overnighters, but that's fine by me.
If anyone needs truck parking halfway close to ATL, there's a Waffle House with a gravel lot in Calhoun, exit 315. Walking distance from a Food Lion, Subway, Circle K, and of course Waffle House is 24 hours.Lumper Humper, Professor No-Name and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Geez man that's a tough break for a reload, but at least they're making it worth your while with 2 pretty good runs. I used to see one of our drivers parked there with regularity. It seemed like he lived nearby as often as I saw the truck there. I had to live load after I got empty jn Pevely. Went to Washington Park to load ice melt going to Grand Prairie, TX. It's been a long time since I've loaded there, like almost 4 years and it went to Denver. Even today the forklift driver was like, let me guess, Denver? He was surprised that it was a Texas run lol. They had fried chicken when I went by the yard. One piece was left so it went in my belly, as did the potato salad. Driver appreciation is lovelymdmgolfin, Lumper Humper, Professor No-Name and 1 other person Thank this.

Ice Melt going to Texas in September is an interesting run lol. I guess it's just going in bulk to get distributed later, idk. Nothing wrong with fried chicken and potato salad. Pilot has some pretty decent offers on the app this week too. Probably 15 dollars or so worth of stuff I'd actually buy.mdmgolfin, Professor No-Name and bryan21384 Thank this.

Oh yeah and don't forget the freebies too! Everyone is gearing up for winter, don't want to get caught with nothing to battle snowmdmgolfin Thanks this.

85 and 81 went surprisingly smooth. 808 miles in 24 hours is pretty solid for this route. Sadly next pickup is Lineage, so im prepared for the worst lol
Professor No-Name and dwells40 Thank this. -
Garrison does drop and hooks at lineage so I feel just a tad bit smug right nowProfessor No-Name and Thrasher28 Thank this.

That's who brokered this load. Definitely jealous of you drop and hooks. I have very bad memories with the one in Bedford Park, IL lol.mdmgolfin Thanks this.
