At this point I’m willing to drive in a box truck class B. It is very discouraging filling out applications and get a call or interview and then no follow up then see the same job repost. Or jobs that say 1 year required then you see the same job on another app like simply hired then says 1 year preferred, then 2 weeks later 6 month’s minimum experience then 3 month’s minimum on another site

You'll score A LOT more green over time if you keep applying for CDL-A jobs, instead.

Even when times were MUCH better -- I still got shot down several times before I got a "yes" answer. And this is with ALL those CDL endorsements I mentioned above -- plus a TWIC (Google it).

Trucking is very seldom a cake walk...but especially for newbies, right now.

Time to toughen up, Driver. :Tank:

If you have a CDL but just haven’t driven for awhile we can help get you back in the industry. This convenient program offers customized CDL training to bring current and former truck drivers “up to speed” on various aspects of the profession. This includes hands-on driving time behind the wheel of a semi tractor-trailer.

Freight volumes are down because the economy is slow. Companies don't move as much freight when they are making fewer things.
