Our Journey Trucking- AMX

As it was there was one installed under my bunk. I didn't see it cause it was black and the area was black.

After 3 weeks we are leaving AMX, we are finishing up this week and turning the truck in.
The long story made short.
We were told about per diem and told we get it everyday that we are on duty. It didn't show up on our first two weeks check so we talked to payroll and they advised we would get it this week. Well as I said short of it, per diem as they say is just a tax break. But nowhere was that disclosed. And wasn't disclosed we discovered it on our checks. When we talked to them they said, that's what per diem is. So we did not come to an understanding and as a result we are finishing our run from Orlando to Dallas. Then grabbing a load in Dallas and taking it back to the yard. Closing us out on Friday.

Want to thank people for reading this thread and caution people find out what you are getting. We didnt get a pamphlet, no book showing us things in black and white. Be safe out there and keep the shiny side up.

 

At this point heading home. Kinda regroup and go from there. Not saying anything bad about AMX, just feel mislead. AMX I do know has lost 5 drivers in last week including my trainer who went to Hirschbach and the former Director of Training and Academy.
As soon as we get home I'm gonna start looking and see what available.

 

We have 2 months OTR. We are still located out of NE Florida.
