1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

    Hello!

I have about 4 1/2 years of experience, my X endorsement, and have pulled dry van, reefer, intermodal, and non haz tank. I've done drop and hook, live, and deliveries to grocery stores, bodegas, hardware stores, and retail.

My biggest issues have been an accident on 12/2022, where a driver braked checked me multiple times and I couldn't stop fast enough to keep from hitting his bumper. It was low speed, non recordable, and you wouldn't know something happened unless I told you. I was cited and am fighting it, but it's taking a long time to just get a date. I also have an accident from 10/2019, long story short I witness an accident at night, disabled black car on left passing lane. Stopped in front and called 911, a car clipped it and sideswiped my trailer bumper, and a 4 wheeler truck following clipped his driver mirror on the trailer. No tickets or citations. I can go more in depth with both if needed.

I'm currently with a very small company, on what would be a fantastic account, if it weren't for constant issues, from maintenance to lack of communication (mostly on the broker). I have insurance and a really crappy vacation policy, but no safety nets and no 401k. The truck I'm in is gross, I started it around 370k miles, and am over 525k, with no idea when I'll ever be put in something else until this just falls apart.

I live in west Fort Worth! I'm looking for no more than 6 days out, and I really need 2 consecutive days home so I can take my mom to doctor appointments and maintain the place. I have a disability that would make intensive jobs hard, so no food service/loose deliveries, and no constant scaffold climbing (dozens of times a day). I gross around 1800/w now, so I would like similar pay, but I can take a little cut. I like working, I try to be very honest and communicative, and I pride myself on service. I would like a haz tanker job but I know the incidents kinda take that off the table, but I'm open to just about anything; again, it can't be very intensive. I wanted to call this company home, but it can put my license and my finances in jeopardy. I just want a truck that isn't permanently grimy, and equipment that is maintained properly. Thanks for reading!

If you are still looking, send a message my way. I work with a small company out of TN, if that's not an issue.

Hey I’m a Driver with 34 months of experience located out of Georgia I’ve done OTR , local and regional. My issue is I have a few citations within those years and 3 preventable accidents I know I know I’m probably SOL . Only one incident was I at fault and even then all these were very, VERY minor NOT A dot recordable incident but either way it doesn’t matter . I’m just looking for a place to call home it’s been very hard for me to get back in the industry does anyone know of a company that might hire me even owner operators hiring . I am a reliable driver and always on time so any help would be appreciated thanks .
