Does anyone know how much this combo will curb out at?Trying to figure out which way I want to go on my tags here in bama.

1980 GMC general day cab short chassis.Aluminum frame,6V92TA,Daytons all around on 10.00x20 tires,Air starter,100 gallons of fuel.
48 foot step deck skate board(how much lighter is a aluminum over steel one) with a good supply of chains and binders to tie down a single vehicle/load.

You wont be registering the vehicle for the empty weight. If you do as a commercial vehicle you will get a fine. Your registration will depend on your maximum load. Otherwise you would only be able to use said vehicle for transportation and not for work.

Yea,that is the plan of sorts.I know about what weight I will be hauling but don't know how much the tractor and trailer will be.Plan is to use the truck for a toy hauler not for hire but I am not sure what tag I will go with.I can cheat and get a vintage vehicle tag but that is only good for 26000 if caught by someone that knows what they are doing or the other option is Commercial tags between 300 for 26000LB GVW to 1000 for 80K
