Hi, good morning to everybody
I was needing an advise we had delivered a load for TQL from AZ to CA with 4 drops with it being driver assist.
The driver delivered the load ( LA AIRPORT SMALL FOOD SHOPS WAS A PAIN ) and there were no issues the BOLS were signed off and we went off to the next load now TQL is claiming us for a pallet being damaged worth $4,983 bucks after 10 days but when we delivered it everything was good and they received it, I sent them the bols is there anything I can do? If this is the case receivers can just receive the pallets, and then claim it on the carrier and do some fraudulent stuff which is not right
Driver does not have pictures of the load
any advise would be great!

I'd say, if they signed for it clear, there's no claim issue.
Had they signed for it, "Subject to inspection", or some such, they might have a claim.
TQL knows better and that tells me that there might be more to this story.Rideandrepair, Siinman and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
9 months to file a cargo claim for hidden damage.
PPLC, Rideandrepair, gentleroger and 2 others Thank this. -
Irrelevant. It's all about the bills. Clean bills mean they have to pay in full. They signed for it, that's their documented proof.Rideandrepair, Flat Earth Trucker and Opus Thank this.

what do you do if a broker is withholding payment for a claim - but refuses to file or have receiver file a claim for damage?
I have referred it to my cargo insurer but nothing they can do until a claim is filed.

One more reason to not work with TQL. No question this is another scam they are pulling off.
