Truck Drivers have always been good at getting something big into a small hole, just sayin...
Will it fit?

From all the replies it appears option 2 might be the safest for everyone involved. Not my favorite option but then again, it's not a "commercial" location either.
Thank you everyone for the replies, it sincerely helped my decision.
Looks like I'll put down some rock to the green line (turquoise now) , and mark it straight to the road.
Using the 75 feet information it looks like that front fence will have to be angled for a while, no worries though. $2500 a month adds up quick. I'll just put a dirt only pipe fence until I can build the legit shop with dock.
If anyone has any pointers I may have missed, I'd appreciate anything.
The dock won't be like the one above where it folds down, this one will be sitting on top of a 6'x10' flatbed trailer, welded to itself but just mounted by weight to the trailer where it won't move but is removable. If a semi driver doesn't stop they'll maybe harm the trailer but then a fence and a tree eventually.
This option also allows driver side backing which is why I thought it might be a good option. That is, so long as they drive in the correct way.
Is it best on instructions to say "please be facing east when approaching the property?" Or "face east backing west"?...
Thanks again for all the input.pumpkinishere, Albertaflatbed and Opendeckin Thank this. -
Do you think I should have both options available? Amateurs you're the turquoise dock, pros you're the red dock haha.pumpkinishere and Albertaflatbed Thank this. -
Have you checked with the county or the township/city? They may have setback requirements on a dock. Looking at your pictures the most places won’t allow the “overhang” so to speak of a truck encroaching on the approach of the drive or the road for safety purposes, it doesn’t exist now so it can’t be grandfathered in.
When I bought this property, I have to remove the small delivery dock that was built in 1933, this had “overhang” of 7 feet into the easement area near the road and blocked the view of the road from the drive.86scotty, pumpkinishere, Albertaflatbed and 1 other person Thank this. -
Do you have a rough terrain all wheel drive forklift ?
how are you going to unload the cargo and get it into the garage for storage ?
Can you tell us what type of cargo you will be dealing with ?
2 truckloads a week , will your customers or the other trucks that will be picking up in the cargo , ever be on site at the same time blocking the driveway , parking in the street etc ?
for putting the rock down , having a professional do it with a mat underneath and compacting it properly etc would help keep it from sinking ,
And are there buried utilities under the shoulder at that location ?
for the direction of travel , you could /should include in the info that the “delivery truck must enter X street from from Y street “ or whatever
I’m not sure I’d say “ delivery truck must be facing west or whatever because half the drivers can’t read and the other half couldn’t find west if you handed them a compass .
The picture makes it look like a residential area ?
If so ,
Is The local govt is not going to have any problem with this in a residential area ?86scotty, pumpkinishere, Albertaflatbed and 1 other person Thank this. -

The streets are rated for loaded trash trucks, we don't have alleys for trash.
Thanks for the questions.86scotty Thanks this. -
What are the roads like getting to your place? How wide are the corners? How deep are the ditches?
