I imagine there's a lot of mixed up directions and pissed drivers showing up in the wrong place with those towns names!

 

Jersey is full of municipalitys with similar names .

 

Brunswick ..south Brunswick...east Brunswick.
Orange ...west orange ..east orange.
Plainfield.. south Plainfield.
West New York.
Ridgefield...Ridgefield park .
Elmwood...Elmwood park .
Piscataway...south Piscataway.
Bergan ...north Bergan.. south Bergan.
I could go on and on.

 

So the fmcsa is planning to set everyone's speed to 68 what a bunch of crap. Truck stops going to be even fuller everywhere.

 

As an ex NYC north jersey guy I'll give you some advice .
Once in jersey past any scales slide the trailer axles all the way forward.
Always get directions if you arnt sure .
Never ever get on a parkway !
Us truck 1 and 9 and the jersey turnpike are your friends .
Do not get on the Pulaski skyway !
Use jug handles when possible.

 

That's got a long way to go before it becomes law and if you're concerned about it join ooida .

Well, after I drop in CB in the morning truck goes in the first of three shops, and my but goes to live the motel life, hopefully not for too long. But I'd be surprised if I'm rolling before Friday. If that's the case I guess I'll be staying out this weekend. No "homeboy" this week I guess Brad!
