If y'all are ever in the shop and in a hotel in the Omaha are, right across the parking lot from the My Space hotel is the Island Bar & Grill. Give em a try. Owner is tending bar tonight, he and his wife just bought it a few months ago. Great guy! Love talking to people like that, and I'm not a people person!!! Good food also!!

Extended warranty kicks in at 500k, gotta have it into Detroit before that for warranty to be in effect. I'm at 496k. Good thing is, it's a free oil and every filter on the truck changed, along with DPF filter cleaned free, and they fix any leaks they can find, cause Extended warranty doesn't cover leaks. They found a leak at the back of the engine, and upon removing the transmission, let me know about the clutch springs. So, even though it costs money... still saved me a ton of money in the long run..... once this is all done I'm having the trans and both diffs serviced at FCC cause they're cheaper and a windshield changed. Was planning on going to Freightliner also for an electrical issue with a module they've changed before. But with the weekend coming up, I'll probably skip that since they probably won't get to it till Monday, and it's something I can live with just want it fixed cause I've already paid them 1k recently for it...Speed_Drums, runningman0661, dwells40 and 4 others Thank this.

Ya. I totally get it. I struggle every so other thinking about getting into an O/O situation here at FCC. Either Lease or Finance a Truck.
When I signed on, I asked about leasing the truck I drove for a few years and was told they had never done that before but didn’t see why that wouldn’t work to lease it after driving it until they would be trading it out.
Worth asking about if you want to confirm that it’s still an option.
I know a KW that will be coming out of service soon…
… one driver… lol

You know you might as well pull the trigger and lease one. Just tell them you want your truck and sign on the dotted line.
All joking aside it seems as fcc wants you to succeed.
