Only 2 places for the engine to push oil into the coolant, #1 is oil cooler, and it is the culprit 99.9% of the time, #2 its possible with a head gasket issue, but EXTREMELY rare and if it is causing it you will have other noticeable issue as well.
Water pump seal going, puts coolant into the oil, same with a liner or liner o-ring issue, water goes into the oil.Snoopycda, Goodysnap, blacklabel and 3 others Thank this. -
I have seen liner cavitation swap oil and coolant both ways. Cooler is more common
Oxbow, blacklabel and Star Rider Thank this. -
Even if enough oil got by the rings. I can't fathom any measurable amount making it into the cooling system through any circumstance with a liner. But i ain't seen everything eitherbjytech, Oxbow and blacklabel Thank this. -
