The braintrust here have simplified driver involvement by ordering trucks w minimal gauges. We just shake our heads..
It's the set it forget it method..lol
But have a hearty chuckle as you roll by knowing we will be on the clock till repairs are made at 55 p/h.
It's the reason I bring winter survival gear 5 months a year.

Because most of the time now days, neither the person sitting at a desk writing out the spec's for the new trucks, nor the drivers they're gonna have in these truck even know what these things are......... much less know how to use them. -

You want me to tell how those needle noses are the highest level of Badazz Kool there is in the world of trucks .. and how just because the grill isn't wide doesn't mean they don't get air flow .. and that those older needle noses use to pull the same hills and mountains maybe steaper since there wasn't a interstate system then when they were in their prime..
