Is there an electrical outlet (110) on these trucks that's live 100% of the time? The ones below the bunk only seem to work when the apu is on and that's it. And I'm paying $40/week for an inverter...thought that's what it was for-to have at least 1 live plug 100% of the time. Is my only option to plug directly into the inverter? Or is the inverter wired the same as the rest of the truck?

The outlets are only live all the time if you take an extension cord and run it from the power inverter out the side and plug it into the shore power outlet on the side of the truck and then turn that switch box on inside your side box. Then the power inverter will run all of the power outlets all of the time. Other than that you can take it off of the Apu plug in there and run it to the shore power plug and all the outlets will be live when you're running the Apu but only when you're running the APU

Depending on how much and what it is needing 100% power, you can buy a smaller 12V inverter for fairly cheap. Besides that, it's either straight into the inverter or using professor's work arounds. Most trucks have a convenient little cubby the inverters get mounted in that's more easily accessible. Another option is to work some magic and run the chord through an air vent if possible if you don't want to run them between the bed and frame

I'm gonna have to give that a shot if they give me a tater load back out CO. Free potatoes as farm fresh as possible should make a decent meal.

Worked pretty good on this salmon. I'm no chef, but I enjoyed it. A little over cooked. Did alright with burgers for lunch -- just have to keep em a little thin 20231002_184243.jpg

The power inverter that climate sells you is a 2500 watt power drive. They install it under the bunk. Which is fine because you can take the extension cord plug it into the power inverter and run it through the same routing that they run their wiring to the batteries out and underneath the lip and plug it into the shore power. And also with that power inverter you can download the power drive app from the Google Play Store if you have an Android phone. And you can turn that power inverter on and off via the Bluetooth on your phone. So you don't got to raise the bunk up and all that mess you just run the one chord and all the outlets are live all you got to do is turn the power driver on Via the phone.

I am a believer in the air fryer. When I'm at home, everything gets cooked in there, especially nowadays since I have to watch what I eat closely. I like to cook wings in the air fryer. If you cook a steak in it, that's the only time cooking it well done is acceptable. It's very tender. If a steak isn't cooked in the air fryer, I want it bleeding.
