I looked online for a drum of T4, but the best I could find was $1100 plus shipping. 55gal at Walmart for $17/per is only $950 plus tax.JoeyJunk Thanks this.

Costco
5 gallons for $80 so $880 for 55 gallons -
Thats your issue. Shipping and online for 1 off barrels. If you go directly to a local distributer they buy the stuff in bulk for local shops and can add an extra drum or two to their next order and resell it to you for cheaper then a lot of 1 off retail places. My local one buys 100+ drums at a time for the farmers and shops around where i live and can get them considerably cheaper for it.
Plus a lot of them have a ~$20-50 deposit on the drum you get back if you return the empty in good condition. Some will even refill it with bulk tank oil for far less if there is enough demand. Mine will do mobile 1 oil that way but T4 doesnt have enough demand to keep in tanks sadly. Always talk to your local dudes on bulk stuff. You would be amazed how much cheaper they can get it then you can.
But as i pointed out sometimes wal-mart or napa or whoeever has it cheaper. If thats the case just add them to your own barrel to refill it.HoneyBadger67 and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
Currently at my local Sam’s Club.

Last week the 3 gal eco boxes were $4.90 off at Walmart. I bought a cart full
Still are from the looks of it.

LOL. I guess I can’t just grab one for ya. There is a bit of distance between us.

I got pricing from a local Shell distributor. It was laughable. Walmart is cheaper.
Sons Hero Thanks this. -
Too bad too lol. But its all based on local market. Where i live a HUGE percentage of cost is transportation. My local place can out compete anyone else since they hold the contracts for multiple farms. So they can afford entire truckloads of oil. Ends up being pennys on the dollar. Even the normal gallons at crapmart are around $25-30 a gallon though ive happily snagged them as low as $15 on sale.JoeyJunk Thanks this.
