I like dark window tint but found it to be an LEO magnet in a semi. Seems like they don't care about cars with dark windows tho.
Arctic_fox Thanks this. -
Oh, yes they do, as the cops are always looking for anything that could justify a traffic stop, to start a fishing expedition.Arctic_fox Thanks this.

Personally i prefer my rig being a "grey" semi. The less it sticks out the less likely i am to be noticed and eyeballed. Granted its passed every single level 1 to date. But who here actully ENJOYS getting a colonoscopy via dot?
Bud A. Thanks this. -
Not where I live. Hell I've got the front windshield tinted on my pickup truck. It's never been an issue.

Uh, fmcsa reg says 70% of light must pass thru. So MO,IA, and I got popped in UT at Wendover port of entry in UT East bound I80. Did get a warning in CA for tinted windows. So just be warned the regulation is in the green book. They will test with a tint meter.

Florida was cool with my 20% said long as he can see through it he’s good. But did say it’s officer discretion and law is 70 on CMV.
