    You got me there. I'll admit at the time I was so happy to be hired and was googly eyed at the pay at the time lol.

    We've passed like ships in the night a few times, mostly in your first year or so on TTR.

    I'm doing fine. I hate our new pay structure, but local options around me generally suck and switching to another OTR job would just be changing the color of the truck, so I'll tread water for a bit longer. Godkids are getting to the age to be really fun to hang out with, so I've been prioritizing them a lot more - The Boy will experience his first deer camp this year. On the downside, they've all outgrown the age where I can buy them annoyingly noisy toys.

    I did a sixth day last Sunday, got Central to give me a load at 5AM and by the time I left our yard, everything went down. So picked my own freight for the return. Worked every day this week. Doubt there will be extra work this Sunday? No Central? Oh well, roll with it, that's why I'm a company driver, I don't have to take it home.

    Oh man I don't even know how long I've been on TTR at this point lol. Sounds like all is well and I'm happy to hear that for you. I hope you continue to be blessed and healthy.

    Yes sir I was hoping I could be off for the week but that'll be more like perfect lol. I would've jumped on a plane so fast man. Everything definitely is a blur right now at work. All the extra days worked and stuff like that has definitely come in handy on my end. It's smooth sailing from here on out.

    Yes, I've outlined some of those benefits before, here. Especially the HSA matching of the first $1k each year. Is a gift better than 401k.

    Well, I still appreciate you guys sharing the knowledge and breaking it down for me so I can get a better understanding. I'm always down to learn and I appreciate you guys for that. Having older guys that have been in this industry way longer than me have legitimately prevented so many trucking nightmares in my journey.

    I'm very thankful for you guys and the things you went through so I won't have to. Older guys usually get a lot of crap for things, in some instances RIGHTFULLY SO, but many of you guys have saved my behind. Shout-out to you guys man.

    I'd buy you guys a beer if I could lol.
