I have checked with like a dozen different companies and most of them need at least 6 months experience

    Suggestion:

Earlier in this same thread -- I offered some local-area job opportunities. These jobs have training for newly-minted CDL holders.

I would suggest -- given how incredibly flabby the current market is for drivers out of south FL with no experience -- that you go after/take one of those local jobs --build up some experience -- & then go after an OTR job when you have 12+ months to offer (along with a clean safety record, as well -- no incidents/accidents/citations).

To further bolster your marketability even more -- go after, & get ALL the relevant CDL endorsements: tanker, hazmat & also....doubles/triples. To score a CDL-A job with any of the LTL carriers, you'd need those endorsements, anyway.

If you later had 12+ months experience with any of those local jobs (along with a good safety record)....those earlier OTR job suggestions would take you FAR MORE SERIOUSLY.

    Think about it....

Have you submitted online applications from the various trucking company websites?
Just a phone call won't cut it these days.

That's a big plus. You should be rolling soon.
Start submitting applications using the Bushnell address.

Update with your new address, if you haven't already.

If you can in fact prove to the rest of the world that you indeed have a Bushnell, FL address (power bill, rental payment, phone bill, etc)....then that opens the door for you to go after this one:

Werner Enterprises -- no prev exp req'd -- very pet friendly -- OTR & regional -- will train

This one will indeed turn you into a professional long-haul machine.

As suggested above -- DON'T CALL FIRST -- instead, fill out/complete the on-line application first -- wait a few days after you submit it, then follow-up with a call to recruiting -- & ask 'em about the status of your app.

The above ad was posted very recently -- so it should not be an expired opening (as of this writing, anyway).

His cdl will have the Bushnell address. Bushnell is a legal address for cdl's.
