They get the laws they pay for.

Oh wait, does that sound too cynical?

Nebraska has a camera setup on what looks like one of those portable stoplight frames.

Kept 10 troopers busy all day writing phone/seatbelt tickets at Kearney a couple weeks ago. It was setup in the median a little further west going into one the construction zones when i went thru last Thursday, but they weren't working it then.

if the teamsters want 60 that would mean more driver to fill the need, and more revenue from dues.

Bud A. and Magoo1968 Thank this.

I just got a written warning in the mail from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania which was a speed camera stating that I was going 68 in a 55 on I-76 northwest of Pittsburgh. No fine or anything but it's just a little frustrating because I know I was loaded at the time and that area has so many big hills that I was probably trying to slow down from the normal 70 mph speed limit going into a construction zone. Chicago pulls this kind of crap too, I know one area where they constantly hand out tickets because the speed drops from 55 to 40 very abruptly on a downhill roadway.

I do not think this is law enforcement, strictly speaking.
