    Go for the money and extended training.
    Stevens Transport also has cdl training in Spring, Texas so you can ask about that.

    Let me address something. It's not that I don't want to go to the Dallas/FT area. Reason is i feel like the cost of the hotel and food is gonna come out of my pay

    Hotel and food is free to you. Ask the recruiter about that. Transportation cost to get to the school from Houston is free to you.

    No catch. You have to sign a contract that you'll work for the company after graduation. Pretty good deal. A lot of money is invested in you for the training, so a contract is a fair deal.

    Truck Driver, CDL Occupational Skills Award
    The Lonestar College program is connected to Stevens.They have 2 programs,the Steven's sponsored one and the base Lone Star program.
    I think we have hired 15 drivers so far from the Lone Star program.
