Thousands sign online petition asking FCC to shut down Mud Duck

Yep a lot of others are doing the same thing and some of them need to be dealt with legally. Some need to be dealt with by other means.

The FCC as it was explained to me a while back, has limited resources and depends on others to police the systems. Hams do somewhat an OK job but the most serious are reported back to the FCC, and now we have a sanctioned reporting system - ARRL Volunteer Monitor program - which seems to have worked a bit better than the nay-sayers.

 

I dont follow that stuff...I turn radio on and off as needed...
If the noise be human or electronic i either fix one and shut off for the other..

 

Sir, he doesn't need 4000 watts. All he needs is a radio with a spectrally pure signal froma NIST calibrated bench. Mark preaches integrity and would never run power. He just puts all 4 watts onto 27.185 and it ends up dominating the channel.

Cleaner is meaner, back to the bench.

Oh you mean the "white smoke, green smoke" thing? Is that still going on? I heard that , like 16 yrs ago.
