Is the Road Warrior program for W2 or 1099 people?
According to K&B website, they are not hiring from California. -
Its W2 and they will hire anywhere in the lower 48 for the road warrior program.

Company drivers normally say they not we but recruiters use we often??JC1971, XenonOxide, merv85 and 6 others Thank this.

I could go back through emails from a long long time ago, but I do believe there is a recruiter there named Sean. Not saying the OP is that Sean, but the OP does make it sound like a "come work for K&B" kind of thing.Magoo1968 Thanks this.

How would some new K&B driver know all this? Sure sounds like the angle of a RE-CRUIT-ER. (say it while rubbing your palms palms together)
Yep. Recruiter
This sounds like it could potentially be a not so good change from the $1,000 minimum gaurantee they had before.
Seems like its your first 8 weeks.
Not a big deal to whom? The person losing the sleep and/or having to falsify their logs to do a trailer swap or not a big deal to the company? It is a big deal. Can't be swapping trailers on your break.
This whole paragraph sounds like something a cheer leading recruiter says. "K&B saved that mans life"
Sean the recruiter sounded like he was gonna cry when I entertained the thought of going to K&B once. He jumped the gun, got a plane ticket and all and tried to guilt trip me about how he might "lose his job" over it. Glad it's all good and well for ya there, Sean. Enjoy that high turnover and empty trucks now, ya hear?surf_avenue, asphaltreptile311, Hammer166 and 6 others Thank this. -
I got a question for you, which company did you drive before you came to K&B? Also, how come when it says I go to the website that you guys don’t hire out of California when in fact, you state you do publicly here on the forum?

A company that will interrupt a 10 hour break expecting somebody to swap a trailer is a company that doesn't care about saftey. Money is more important.
