I took one of these, with only delivery miles, IL > ID > UT > ID > IL. Obviously, a completely different animal from what you drove. I don’t know how many hundred units they are up to, but, they’re still ordering the 579 and T680 with it. If the UAW strike gets to my contracted plant, I’ll be going back to these guys.

Great assessment.
Looking at the 380’s ride height, they’re definitely tall in the shock’s available travel.

Well it finally happened, I was able to get a deal done. I got a 2024 T680 with a 450HP Cummins, Diamond Package with a KIMS and Bendix. Pretty much the OO specd. I got it for my 2023 389 Peterbilt w/ 150K miles (specd out) with an APU plus $30K cash. I was hard in my line and they budged to my offer.
I feel like I got a pretty good deal but the market could prove me wrong really quick because there's no doubt my 389 held up in value in this depressed market and the T680 value could tank quick. I'm sad getting rid of the 389 but definitely looking forward to lower costs.
Question for everyone, does anyone have any experience with deer guards? I'm kicking around the idea of getting one, but I don't want to kill the fuel mileage. -
Most popular brand I see by far is
Ex-Guard - Grille Guards for Semi-Trucks and Delivery Vans
This brand I see occasionally but you can tell they are well built and designed. probably more pricey too.
Home - HERD Grille Guards, Cab Racks & Truck Accessories -
Very sad…

Yes it’s this one right here:
XG-CML125G2 | Ex-Guard
It’s $2,000 installed. But concerned it will kill the fuel mileage plus it ain’t cheap lol. -
