What to Do When Company Doesn't Pay You

My last company didn't pay me my last check, I left due to medical reasons and didn't give a 2 wk notice, I did sign a contract for such notice, can I recover my money?

 

A call or email to your state labor board would get you the correct answer to that question.

 

I don’t understand how booting his truck made him pay up. Those metal things are ridiculously easy to break/counter. They only really work on people who are ignorant of tool usage.

This is on you. Get an uber to a car rental place, go back to the truck and clean it out and go find a job instead of working for free.

Then if he doesn't pay you, take him to court.

 

W-2 or 1099? Your course of action depends on your classification of employment.

Disconect from the elog..disconnect the batteries..toss the keys in a sewer and walk away. and ignore his calls. You’ll still be broke but you’ll have one heck of a story to tell your grandkids
