Hi, I just gotta say that after driving for 15 years in this industry I believe I've found a keeper & Of all things it's a 1099 company in CHICAGO. I know, I know a 1099 company " they're crooks!!" ESPECIALLY if they're out of Chicago yada yada. Mainly your right, I've worked for most of them but this company, this owner is different. He allows you to go W2 if you want to, he doesn't take out any escrow like a lot of the crooks do & doesn't hold back any checks. I get paid 1,500.00 a week & I'm home on weekends. He doesn't charge for little mishaps that happen on the road that of course go w/ the territory, although his radar does zoom in on every nick ,dent or scratch, he's a good owner & takes care of his trucks. I'm driving a 2018 cascades w/ a fridge, stoked w extra everything including any tools I might need on the road. Katie my dispatcher has been great, all in all it's been a pretty layed back company so far. I have to say I really enjoy working here.

 

I'm a company driver so I'm loving the new truck & the elogs. Now if I were an owner then yeah the older truck & paper logs would be the way to go.
