Home time is an issue, unpredictable, maybe it's on a Saturday/Sunday or Monday/ Tuesday or Thursday/Friday. In the end they steal from your check ( I'm supposed to get paid for Effingham to Richmond, KY to Jonestown, PA , then Baltimore, MD to Mississippi, then Mississippi to Decatur, IL) only thing on my check was Richmond, KY to Fredericksburg, PA. I'm a civil person but they aren't honest.

Umm.... I work for Silvicom right now and none of what you are saying matches. I'm in truck 309. A brand new Cascadia Evolution. I'm paid 55 CPM and they have not cheated me out of a dime. No escrow, no deductions, no bulls###. Avg miles 2800 per week. Avg pay $1500 to $1600 per week no deductions. The people at Silvicom have been great. Paper logs and 70 mph truck. I have been driving since 1998. Over 2 million miles driven. This is one of the best driving jobs I think I've ever had. But it is not a kindergarten company. They do not hold your hand. They do not route you or tell you where to fuel. I communicate by text message with dispatch. There is no Qualcomm or people net in my truck. This is "old school get it done" type driving. If you like Swift, Werner, Etc. and need a babysitter you won't like it here. If you are a veteran driver that knows how to manage him or herself and knows how to keep your nose clean while running paper logs, you will make 75k to 90k a year before taxes for 2700 to 3000 miles a week. I am not a recruiter. In fact Silvicom does not pay a recruiting bonus, they don't have to. Not for beginners or whiners though. W. Guthrie truck 309

You’re not supposed to unless the ELD is down. Even then they give you a deadline to get it fixed.
