nothing to realy see with a bore scope. gonna have to pull it out when we get around to it. more than likely something let go in there.

more than likely most of it got spit out the hole in the bottom. but i did recover a small piece the size of a pea. its toast. trans coming out and clutch job.Diesel Dave and jamespmack Thank this.

Agree. Damper springs floating around, things get weird. A guy that knows how to double clutch properly. The damper springs will be dirty and in stock location. Just my experience.

Agree. Only seen that happen once. Had one ear broken off. Driver didn't mention any issues. Doing a PM for a customer and noticed this shiny fresh hole in the flywheel housing.
That flywheel spit it right outjamespmack and Oxbow Thank this. -
Unrelated ish. One time I had to use a air hammer to push clutch disk back in aluminum flywheel housing. So I could remove clutch. Cut right through detroit aluminum flywheel housing. Wish I had took pics. But 2002,03 didn't have great phones or camera. Never seen anything like it. Never forget that one.Oxbow Thanks this.
