You should check these guys out The National Owner Operators Association (TNOOA) on twitter. You will get a kick out of how absurd they are.

Brokers and the internet are the reason these dumb ##### are able to operate. It’s too easy to start a trucking business. I’m not advocating regulation again, but it is too easy for people to get authority.

This doesn't look to appealing. 30% drop in income

That sounds like what I’m hearing from others ( companies) as well. I’m not down quite that much but getting close. My customer hasn’t changed prices yet but the stuff I get off the board is probably down as much as %50 in some cases?

Sounds about right. We've seen a big reduction in rates across the board. I have exactly one lane that's still up, and that's because we've all got a gentleman's agreement to have on demand availability on it. It ain't set in writing. Wish it was.

Companies dropping Drivers pay will be next. Maybe not right away, soon enough. The Pool is increasing with Schools full, and more Drivers looking for work.

    JonJon78 and dwells40 Thank this.

Unreal. I have no doubt they found the "Budget" carrier, I just hope they truly got what they paid for and the load ended up damaged or flipped over in a ditch.
