Looks like the swivel J is still hanging on the strap. Since they usually stay in the hole when a strap comes off, that looks like he threw it over the tire and never got around to actually hooking it in the deck!Another Canadian driver, MACK E-6, ducnut and 1 other person Thank this.

Banker not sure. I just finished loading and I saw him come inside the auction property then I heard a crunching noise and yes I asked what was that but then finished what i was doing and hopped in my pickup and that’s when i saw the mess. My feeling is that it couldn’t have been too terribly long in that truck getting off the deck. There are at least 4 to 5 turns getting a transport into that auction and into the spot he was off any main road.Another Canadian driver and Banker Thank this.

Exactly. And the other 3 wheels had no evidence of straps being used at all, that I could see.Another Canadian driver and Banker Thank this.

Or this driver, who is going down in legal flames and taking all of the brokers who contracted with him to haul cars.

The peculiar part is that the dangling strap is the only strap remotely in use.

I always know that as soon as I point out someone else’s hardship it bites me in the back side. And in an effort of realism and transparency. This is a result of me failing ONE time to double check pins on the #14.
I am religious about checking pins. I came back the next morning to leave and this is the result of what happens when you don’t carry forward your job completely. So happy my customer is understanding that IT happens. Still, it sucks. I absolutely hate stupidity and that was me.Attached Files:

Can confirm those pickup guys are annoying. My company (that I work for not own) contracts out some of the work and they really do do what they please. Most infuriating for me is they will offload 2 or 3 cars in middle of fooking lot and I can't get my 80` into position have to go out back and get a rollback and winch tow these it's so Fing annoying and eats up time
Kozakvod Thanks this. -
In the past month two cars rolled off trailers near a budget holding yard here in Atlanta. We sold a stinger last month the driver decapitated 4 new trucks on his second day hauling cars

Sorry to hear that, #### always happens at the wrong time and there isn't any margin for error fixed into the lousy rates being paid.Kozakvod Thanks this.
