people who say no will get terminated
full time, I gained seniority day one. So yea I was working full time on sleepers for the last 3 years. -
Do you think people are going to be buying more next year than this? Ups may be laying off a bunch next year. … But people still got to eat. And there’s Walmart….. I know what I’d do.

I guess it would depend on what spot you are on the recall list. If you can make it on filler jobs during the time you get laid off again until you are recalled full time, I say go back to Buster. If it looks like years before you are brought back full time, you may want to stay with Wally. Also do you really need the $150,000+ at Buster or can you live good on $100,000-$120,000 at Wally? I have friends at Wally that had more time than I did at Buster and they like Wally better after being there 3 or 4 years. Wally definitely doesn’t pay as well as Buster but that doesn’t necessarily make it a worse job for everyone.

If you still retain your 3 years of seniority at UPS and you'd like to eventually end up back full time, I'd say go for it. Yes, you'll probably get laid off again in a few months, but you've already proven to yourself that you can find another decent job if you need to. Maybe you could even get back on with Walmart if you give notice and leave on good terms.

Go back to UPS, then if you're laid off again, work for a temp service until UPS calls you back.
Here's a popular temp service:

I agree with what most have said go back to ups . if and when you get laid off try a temp agencies or hire on with another company even if you have to take a pay cut until you get called back . You’ve already put in 3 years , why throw it away

I’d definitely go back to UPS. But I’d take a leave of absence at Walmart.
Old_n_gray Thanks this. -
All these are great answers.
