I know it's healthy to build a little mental toughness and take a break, but I can't lol. I made it 8 hours today before I caved. Props to anyone who's quit -- Mine wasnt a super serious attempt, but its no joke after the 6 hour mark. I couldn't imagine how bad the 48-72 hour stretch is.
Felt like a 16 year old again with my heart beating hoping the lady wouldn't ID me.bryan21384, dwells40, Lumper Humper and 1 other person Thank this. -
There’s no panic like reaching into your back pocket only to find your wallet isn’t there. Good luck hope you find it or get everything replaced soon!bryan21384, Thrasher28 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Got another Hershey Ogden run for this weekend. Picked up yesterday morning, delivers all day Monday, but I'm gonna drop it tomorrow around noon. Currently insomniac-ing at the truck parking area just west of Cheyenne. My reload is taters out of Idaho Falls. Cool part is I get to go down 26 and 191. Never been that way before. Should be nice. It's a 3 stop load with the 1st stop in KCMO at De Feo Produce. Directions don't lead to the exact address, and the address pulls up an empty lot lol. And the phone number is disconnected, so I can't contact them. Looks like I'll just amble around the area Wednesday and fafo lol

That is one scary feeling when you lose your wallet, license or both. I left my license in Colorado years back once. I was driving for a different company and got fuel at that mom and pop truck stop in Frederick. In those days, you had to leave you ID at the counter so they'd turn the pump on. They didn't have the advanced pumps like the major truck stops. I went in there, pumped, then left the truck stop without my license. I had to pickup at Budweiser there in Fort Collins. The only reason I realized that I got my license is because they wanted to do a paperwork inspection at that Limon scale. Thank goodness I had my license number committed to memory. They punched it in and sent me on my way. The folks at the truck stop were gracious enough to send it to the house. Though. I got home that Saturday and managed to grab it.Lumper Humper, Thrasher28, motocross25 and 2 others Thank this.

Man....don't you know I quit smoking last October and my body still nicks for thay nicotine? I've quit every last one of my vices in thr last decade and my is like, "Hey man, are you gonna give me my fix?" It's tough. I quit smoking weed cold turkey back 11 years ago and that one was the most miserable one out of all the vices. I quit cigarettes last year cold turkey and that one wasn't quite as bad, but the struggle was if I was around a smoker, and smelled the cigarette smoke, I became tempted to buy a pack. I used to binge drink on the weekends but quit that also. I pretty much don't even drink anymore since I gotta watch my health more closely than ever. I must say tho, sports looks so differently sober now lmao because I used to love watching football or basketball completely wasted.Lumper Humper, Thrasher28, motocross25 and 3 others Thank this.

Don't you know, I've never kept mine in back pocket. I tried that one time and felt very strange to me. I have this habit of patting my front pockets to make sure the essentials are there. On occasion in the truck, I'll have thay freeze moment but that's if I change pants or something.wulfman75, Lumper Humper, Thrasher28 and 2 others Thank this.

I'm down in Murfreesboro visiting the family. I'm under a Coke load for Atlanta Monday at 12 noon. After I left STL where rude guard was, I went to Garner, NC. I delivered to a McDonald's warehouse...quick unloading too. I slept in the most bizarre place. I slept in the middle of the street in front of the warehouse lol, right in the turning median. Nobody bothered me either, I guess since it was a dead-end road, they didn't care. I reloaded at Clearwater Paper in Shelby and came up to Aldi. That was a 4 hour unload and a lumper of 100 bucks for toilet tissue. I wonder what makes unloading tissue cost 100 bucks? Lol
