Trailer airbag replacement question?

You be crazy to call road side for a airbag put a pair of Vice grips on the line going to the bag let the other 3 left it to get you to a shop ...

The most important question is after you cap the plug how do you let air into the 3 other air bags? And please how does people hurt themselves do I just make sure that I take the wire out first before I let the air get into the air bag? Thanks

 

You only cap the supply line to the bag you’re replacing.
The other bags will still be able to air up.

 

Relatively easy job, just block the air line to that bag, cap it or even bend it over and zip tie it. Use the other bags to lift the trailer. As for blowing out, old age, debris could have weakened it. Definitely not uncommon for a bag to blow just sitting still. Think of how much air pressure is in that bag when loaded. Even at 30psi that's every square inch of the bag add it up its in the thousands
