Man.....I've had trouble getting past 2200 to 2300 mile range in recent weeks. I need more of those 3600 mile weeks. I know that freight ain't the best right now. Most everyone is feeling the pinch here probably. I just get weird loads that don't put me in the best position to succeed. That's how it's been since coming back off leave. After I unloaded at Coke in Atlanta, I had to got to Rome amd I wasn't loaded til about 2230 Monday night. Had to hold the load til my 1730 appt in Decatur, IL yesterday. I sure tried to deliver early at that Caterpillar plant there. They weren't having that. I had to go to Chicagoland to reload and come back down to Sullivan for a drop at Menards. So I'm on pace for about 2200 miles this week. At least I can make my ends meet. It'll get better eventually.

Yeah, I've noticed a bit of a slow down as well. Last week was only 1500 miles, so you're not missing out on much when it averages out. I'll give em credit -- it does seem like the miles balance out here. A slow couple weeks usually seem to be followed up by some good weeks.

Have you been to Midwest lately? I haven't been there in a month or so now. There's been a handful of times where I'd get empty in STL or Edwardsville and sat around waiting on a load fir a few hours when I'd usually just be reloading Hershey. Wasn't sure if Hershey slowed down or just a coincidence I wasn't reloading there.

That's my fault, guys. Last Friday they gave me that Ogden Hershey run (1331 miles) then this 3 stop tater run out of Idaho Falls (1483 miles not including the 179 deadhead miles) and now I'm picking up another Hershey load in the a.m. headed to Temple for Sunday. Previous weeks have had me seemingly sit more than drive, so I guess they figured it was my turn to roll lmao.

I don't know how you pulled off Utah runs twice already, but I'm jealous. You seem to be pulling a lot of Temple loads to even it out though :D

I ended up dropping a load in Sullivan at Menards. The don't leave a lot of room between trailers in the empty lot lol. Them I went by the yard and got a loaded of Milos to deliver in Olney, IL. Deadheaded to Hershey and now I'm headed to Palmyra. I gotta put down some miles if I'm gonna get this off today.

Good luck on your run up there -- maybe they've finally finished up some of those turnpike work zones now that it's November. You got the short end of the stick with those few short hauls they had you on. At least it should be decent miles to PA and back as fast as you can run em

Made it to New Century at 01:00. Apparently something went astray cause they had me wait til 08:00 for them to clear out their warehouse a bit to unload. Reloading now for a load going to Kinloch on Monday morning. I'm dropping it at Craftsmen so I can keep moving and then I'm headed to Chester, SC for a Monday delivery. If it's the delivery I think it is, it's nothing but dunnage and was a 30 minute unload last time.

Welp, landlords kicked me out today. Told me to pack my isht and move on.
Move on into a new (to me) truck that is! Lol
Dropped 1190 today with 50xxxx miles on her, and moved into 1258. Only complaint about this truck is the automatic seat. Gonna take some getting used to the aired down seat whenever I hop in it. But the transmission on this thing....holy shart! Shifts like a pickup transmission with a shift kit. Holds gears longer when taking off, downshifts earlier without having to manipulate it with the jakes and pedal, pulls all the way thru the gears, and shifts so much quicker than the old truck. Even with the cruise on! So much happier now lol.

Man you just made me laugh reading that lol. I was about to be like, "oh no! What ya gonna do man?" Then you say you got in a new truck. That was good man lolol. They put you in a newer truck so that means they like ya lol. I love how the Volvos sound when you first get in them right out of the factory, and that jake has that clean growl lol

Man running to PA was actually easy this time. They're still working on the turnpike but they have moved along somewhat since I last went through there. Zanesville, OH though, that is a mess through there. Those lanes are so narrow its crazy. I actually slept at Hershey in Palmyra. I just didn't pick up the reload til yesterday morning. That run saved my week for real. Where are you delivering in Chester?
