    In New Jersey, said I was here for more than 10 hours at a service plaza. I had no idea about this rule and I was begging my company to give me a load, but they never sent one so I stayed overnight. Should I just pay the ticket? Some guy told me I should just plead not guilty.

    It’s a parking ticket. It won’t affect your record. I understand you didn’t know about the 10 hour rule, even though I’m pretty sure they put signs up all over the parking area, but that’s not going to hold any weight if you decide to fight it. I would just pay it and move on with my life. You were in Jersey, it’s a crowded mess up there. Try and time Jersey go get in and out on the same day if you can.

    It’s just a parking ticket that won’t affect you in any way other than making your wallet lighter.

    I’d have to weigh the pros and cons of fighting it…sometimes it’s just not worth the fight.

    I was in a plaza on the turnpike a few years ago. Shut down because of a snow storm and no one bothered me for staying longer than 10.

    Wasn’t until I got home and saw my toll receipt..They porked me for “Excessive time “
    Never knew that they get you one way or another.

    I appreciate it, I was concerned about my record for a second. I’ll just go ahead and pay the ticket. Been stuck in jersey for almost 2 days, but now I know better.
