Yep. But some of the larger carriers, like Kriska, spec out their new trucks with APU's to keep fuel costs down. My Pro Star has one and it's great - keeps the batteries charged, allows me to plug in almost any household appliance and it keeps the cab warm or cooled while using less than 1/4gal per hour of diesel, as opposed to Xgal per hour wasted with the motor idling.
IdleAire was a great solution for small and large carriers, but we all know how that one ended up...
