Talladega, AL. Coil make trailer go boom. Am I the only one who doesn’t load coils dead ### center of the trailer?

 

That’ll buff out. May just need bend a piece of metal or two. Easy peasy 30 minute fix. Lol

 

That just hurts my soul to look at.

 

Aren’t most trailers designed to take the coil in the center, especially those with the big “PLACE SINGLE COIL HERE” sign in the middle of the trailer? Loading a few feet fire or aft would not have prevented whatever happened to that trailer. It was obviously not rated for that weight coil or there was some other preexisting structural issues

 

What makes ya think I'd
1 be door swinger?
2 drive a truck made in this century?
3 be that far west?
4 drive with my eyes closed?

Reitnour says the frame is good for 100K so why not? Who cares about how the is load spread to actually get the rating.
