Thank you for that. Got some more stuff to look into. This is a great reason to never trust reviews. Some had bad experiences and some have great.

Most negative reviews are written by crybabies.

OTR is good if you have nothing holding you and you’re ready to put in some decent miles. I’m currently doing OTR (mostly west) sometimes cross country. Pay is definitely good at .75cpm and a possibility of up to 3700 miles weakly. Make sure you can do it and not go crazy. Also make sure you can put in that work every day. 13 hour day, than 10 hours off and the cycle repeats. It’s not easy. You don’t get a whole lot rest

What company are you with? If you don't mind me asking. I'm use to like 5-6 hours a rest and 11-12 hour work days with landscaping everyday so I'm use to it.

Based on the wisdom shown in the "Two years on at May" thread -- be careful with you first carrier after CDL school.

We wouldn't want you to come back here later as, "Cryin' Ryan"....:p :D

Oh using my words against me I see lol jk. I'm trying to figure out for my first year if I want to just go with a starter company that can offer just great training and different fleets or actually get with a starter company that has great training and pays good. I'm more into the training and experience mainly than the money the first year and to fully know if I want reefer or dry van the most. It's a tough decision to make and don't want to make a bad decision.

Go where the money is. Forget all the babysitting training. You don't need a babysitter, you need a good paying job that's OTR and that's a reefer company.
