I'm in Canada, Gliders are scarce and the money they are asking and apparently getting for them is crazy. My truck I paid $50k almost 7 years ago with just under 400kmiles, it has 920k miles now, needs a fair amount of work, and I have a standing offer of $32 for it. It needs paint, frame paint, set of I hector's, check the bill gear etc etc. And you still have a rattly old columbia.

I’m driving a 2019 International LT with an X-15, and at 430k it has been good to me since new. Runs strong, no leaks, no oil burning.

    I hope I haven’t jinxed myself!

Ask locals in your area which shops are good… buy a brand that the good shops sell . Pretty much DD15 x15 then mx13 is my preference but being regional a shop that can repair your truck is more important.. currently driving a DD15 that appears stock but diesel spec tune. Zero engine issues in 2 years other than a 2 month period that motive eld was messing everything up . Once motive fixed their glitch truck is great again.

I'm leaning toward Dd15. There is a 17 w900 with 500k miles and a 500 Paccar, not sure mx13 or 15. I'm resisting making the call. He has a bunch if trucks, not sure why this one is being sold. Its sitting in his yard, I drive past it every weekend when I'm home.... have to resist...

There’s no 15 liter Paccar. It would be the MX13.

    I thought there was a mx15 also.

DD15 515 horse for the win.

Cummins can't seem to keep the front cover from leaking after 15 years.

Mx13 is weak and not the greatest for economy. I can't say about problems yet. I think I've got 50k miles in the one I'm driving.

Whatever you buy. Make sure there's no logging device plugged. They wreak havoc with the electricals and computers.

The one I'm driving just recently got resolved pulling the peoplenet box out. And new batteries. Although the engine light is still on. And regen not operating in the manner it's supposed to.

No. Only 13 liters. 510/1850 is as big as they get here. There are rumors of a 15 liter overseas and in Australia. With the latest GHG regs I don’t see then making it to this side of the pond.

Ssgtkevin, Oxbow, Elroythekid and 2 others Thank this.

By logging device, you mean elog?
No way to avoid that? I use Geotab, has a dongle plugs on the port, then a program on my phone.

    Magoo1968 and Oxbow Thank this.
