I'm sure market forces will come into play, but as the market moves, so will the players.
Right now, it would make no sense to try a power a building with a diesel generator if there is electric service available, but at a certain cost point it would. If/when that happens, using a single diesel generator could power the charging station while using less fuel and creating less emissions.
Who is/will be the 1st TTR member to drive Electric Semi-Truck?

All the of the child labor and slavery going on mining for the cobalt doesn’t matter because that happens halfway around the world from here.
I’d also be curious if there were any subsidies or incentives from the government associated with these 100 trucks they put on the road. If so then all that would need to be figured in to see if they run cheaper then diesel.
That being said, I like watching the technology develop. I also enjoy seeing what Edison is doing up in Canada now that they have a hybrid built and operation. Hopefully their model takes off for vocational trucks and maybe even converting existing highway trucks to hybrids.Siinman, Magoo1968, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I’ll agree with less emissions, but “emissions free” is a clear sign of a propaganda piece.

No doubt they had got money from the government on this. Pretty much everywhere is doing it for the electric stuff to Mae the push. I hate it when the government gets involved, No reason for them to do it since to many bad players get involved to steal the money. Just slows up the process in my mind.dwells40 and Accidental Trucker Thank this.
