Having driven a full lease truck I read the maintenance as minimum amount done to satisfy warranty purposes… often it requires a lot of maintenance now .

lol, ok, enough already, guys, we are definitely being taken on a joyride. Aww man I needed a good laugh.

I’d definitely go with the KW daycab you mentioned. It’ll be perfect for hauling heavy weight OTR.
Don’t listen too the naysayers, you got free money!! Pimp that sucker out with lots of chrome and let her eat!cke, W923, tarheelsfan105 and 6 others Thank this. -
If you have lots of free money, you want a W900A, Cat power 3406 is good, 3408 is better if you can find it, 5+4 manual transmission, 3.90 rears, and a looong wheelbase. The long wheelbase is for ride quality. Or a Peterbilt 359 specced similarly is great. If you are looking to lower your taxes, an efficient truck is exactly what you don’t want, so I would suggest you avoid Freightliner. If it doesn’t have a decent sounding Jake brake, it’s too new

I was quoted $13k a year for liability and cargo. My brother has a smaller truck and it been in business for 4 years so we are adding the CDL driver to his insurance plan. I was expecting $35k a year.Last edited: Nov 28, 2023

From a high salary and low expenses. My savings bring me a second income and I still work full time. I am paying for my brother to get his CDL license. I may get it if I like driving these things lol
