Man I haven't gone that way in so long, since the last time they sent me to York. I'll add that to my list. I'm always going to Rutters when I travel through that part of PA. Something about those tacos in there.....

Heck yeah, it's still a decent time of year to be headed to Colorado. Enjoy it before snow season comes back around.
I'm reloading in Palmyra. They weren't a fan of the grime built up on the floor that couldn't be swept up on this empty, so I'm getting a washout north of Harrisburg now. I would've gotten out the windex and paper towels if I knew they were pickier here. It would've passed Edwardsville standards easily, but I guess its understandable HQ is a bit stricter, so no biggie.
2 stopper on this load. One in Robinson and then drop the rest in Edwardsville. This is my first time visiting Hershey in a couple months, and it turns out I'll be visiting all 3 in a 30 hour span.Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this. -
2 flat tires from a leaking auto inflation, one tire with pretty noticeable bald spots. I'll try and run them back to the terminal I guess. Not sure how they'll want it done since this is a drop trailer. I think I might've fixed it after finding a couple of the hoses only finger tight on the wheels valve stem, but idk. Inside tire is probably bald from taking all the load when people takeoff before auto inflate catches up.
I think this makes 3 completely flat tires, 2 'flat' by DOT standards, one blown air bag, one leaking brake chamber, one tire with no casing, and one tire in need of rogain within 2.5 weeks lol. Astonishing.

Dang......I'd probably run it back. If you drop it Hershey, send them a message so that when it's reloaded, it comes through to the yard, or another driver will pick it up. I've had to pick up a few bad trailers from Hershey and bring them back to the yard. I think it was 2502 that had a busted landing gear recently. It was in the out of service section at Hershey so they'll facilitate that. It'll save you some time and a phone call with Larry.dwells40 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Also when you type the message, be detailed with a the repairs. Me personally if I gotta trailer with more work needed past 2 tires, I'm sending them a message to let them know whats updwells40, Lumper Humper and Thrasher28 Thank this.

Yeah, auto inflate just caught up pretty quickly, so I'll run it back. Maybe the last driver managed to catch it shortly after it was dropped and had no idea about the self deflating tires lol. Luckily, neither were debeaded so it wasn't too baddwells40, Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this.

Delivered at wallyworld north of Denver this morning, got a milk load down the street at Aurora headed to Greenville SC for a Sat 0600 del. Load info said p/u time was like 0600-2359, got here and was told it was a 0530 appt time, but their scheduling has been screwy all day. Been sitting for over 4 hours waiting to get called to a dock. Might end up putting a damper on otd. Depends on when they get me out of here and how far I can get tonight. Did 629 miles yesterday in less than 10hrs drive time, but that was on a full night's rest. And I don't even know yet if they're gonna let me take it all the way or not. I literally just got back from Atlanta taking this same load of milk from craftsmen. So who knows.
Anyone know of any guaranteed middle-of-the-night parking on 70? If I was coming out of SLC I'd be aiming for that parking area west of Cheyenne that's almost always got a spot open. But I haven't run 70 enough in my travels to know of any go-to spots yet.bryan21384 and Lumper Humper Thank this. -
I gotta load Friday in decatur going out to mechanicsburg pa. Gonna swing thru the house tomorrow an grab some extra duds since i haven't done laundry. Was planning to do it while at home this weekend but took the load cuz it's hard to turn down a 160 bucks a ton for 700 miles.dwells40, bryan21384 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Siebert Travel Plaza exit 405. Idk if that’s too far or not far enough. It ain’t fancy and I don’t even know if they’re open 24 hours, but I’ve always had luck there no matter what time of day. Dirt lot, mind the potholes.Professor No-Name, dwells40, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this.

I've actually picked em up with them off the bead and the self inflator actually beaded em back up. Took one thru the shop like that once and told em the tire was off the bead. They said well it's up now and not leaking so run it. Imo it had to have come off the bead for a reason.dwells40, bryan21384 and Lumper Humper Thank this.
