Got a short Silgan run to Belvidere today. Hopefully it means I'll have another reload tomorrow, but we'll see. I'm on recap pacing this week, so I'd like to avoid a 34 if possible, but things happen.
Last night was a good game. I never thought it would be that high scoring, and I can't still believe Cowboys opted to pass on a 3rd and 3. It worked out, but iffy call for sure lol. Won a couple +4000 parlays off that game to cover Christmas. I'd imagine the odds of hitting two in one game are astronomical, so I'll take that a sign to cash out and take it easy this weekend.dwells40 Thanks this. -
So my milk run to SC fell thru. Milk plant didn't get me loaded til almost midnight, and I managed to barely make it to the Petro in Colby before falling asleep for good. Robert got me swapped out with a driver headed to Target in Pueblo for this morning, and hooked me up with 8hrs detention. Got unloaded at Pueblo, and got sent to Monte Vista for taters. Unfortunately, mother nature decided to fluff off on LA Veta pass, enough to elicit a "chains required ahead" sign from CDot. But in my pathetic attempt to chain up (I've only ever thrown iron once, and I screwed that up lol) I discovered that I do not have in my possession the necessary tool to tighten the chains up, or anything that would have worked. So I flipped a b and came back to the TA Express off 25, and rechecked the weather. Gonna let it calm down some before heading back. Saw several trucks blow past the chain up area I was at, and started to say eff it, but that a fa I don't wanna fo. Especially empty. Robert did sent me a message right as I pulled into the chain station informing me that if I didn't get to shipper by 1700 they would still load me in the am.
Then told me after I del Monday in Moberly to drop my empty at Coke and bobtail to the yard, which has sent my paranoia into overdrive thinking I'm about to get fired lol. Fun times.bryan21384, wulfman75 and motocross25 Thank this. -

@RubberDuck473 If this is what you’re looking for to tighten the cam on your chains you might keep your eyes peeled at truck stops, especially out there, they might have them. I have had better luck with the “T” handle versus the “L” style. It gives you more grip. Good call not proceeding. If you get spun out and stuck, Colorado does not find the humor in that situation. It’s a pretty healthy fine, on top of a tow bill.bryan21384 and wulfman75 Thank this. -
They will have a chain tool for you at the shop. Why would ya get fired?bryan21384 Thanks this.

Probably a recall on your truck. I thought the same thing when they said 'we can't dispatch you until the shop fixes something'bryan21384 Thanks this.

Good call to chill out at the TA. They aren't gonna let you go man. Things happen. You got held up. Had you not got held up, you'd be halfway to SC lol. Sometimes Aurora can hold you up. I got lucky the other day, and they loaded me early. I think it's a better idea to park than chain up anyway. I know how to, but LaVeta is about the only place that we regularly run in which you'll need chains. I'm glad you posted because I'm gonna check to see if that cam tool is in my truck. They've put one in before. If not, I'll grab one from the truck stop.
