I saw a farm tractor pulling a 12 wide mobile home, in Kentucky. He wasn't bothering anyone and was doing a good job. I was behind him pulling a reefer. Eventually, he made a left turn onto a small road and it went well.

Mobile home was stolen (maybe). Owners showed up to find out their house was gone.

God can you imagine? Also it wouldnt suprise me if people start stealing brand new mobile homes soon. They are fairly easy to transport compared to other alternitives and as a building not to many people are going to know its a stolen vehicle....also as a side note that would be a fun court hearing to listen into. Grand theft.....building? Do we even have laws for that?

As for trying to run...just what kind of lack of logic do you need to think "oh im capped at like 30 mph and i am dragging a literal BUILDING behind me. Ima go ahead and run. Nothing BAD will happen and i will for SURE get away. Its like....really? Your caught just give up already. The charges will be WAY lower

We need to bring back loony bins.

Best practical joke ever right there, now if only I knew somebody who lived in a trailer house.

My understanding is that mobile homes like that come with a title just like a regular trailer. That would most likely put it in the same realm as a stolen auto wouldn’t it.

Maybe driver only had a little ways to go and knew he was already screwed so tried to make it to destination to save on a tow truck… police pursuits on you tube has a new video with a guy pulling a trailer with what appears to a semi engine strapped down . Cops couldn’t pit manoeuvre him lol

I think he was either moving, or just bought that from somebody & was taking it to daddy's house out on the farm or bought himself a hunting camp & was goin' to the woods gettin' ready for deer season.

Or, could'a been like the last line in this song by Jerry Reed.....

Apparently you're no outlaw. Be a perfect time if you ask me. Besides, there's always more to these stories.

I never said I was an outlaw, and those days have all but come and gone, even with my employer. I enjoy my current job, thank you very much.;)
And there is more to the story-more than your theory. The vehicle was involved in a hit and run, driving without lights, swerving dangerously forcing vehicles into ditches and to top it off,the passenger had warrants out of Liberty,MO.
They were trying to move the house to Mosby-Missouri Highway Patrol gave them one week to get it moved(they had gotten stuck at a roundabout previously on US-69).
The driver is facing NUMEROUS charges:
Felony resisting arrest or stop by fleeing (he was tased while being taken into custody)
Creating a substantial risk of injury or death
He was also cited for the following:
    Failure to obey traffic signals
    Careless and imprudent driving
    Violating traffic lane violations
    Driving while REVOKED
Failure to provide PROOF OF INSURANCE OR FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Operating a vehicle that exceeds the legal width of 8 1/2 feet and a length of 45 feet and
Failing to register the vehicle (or no plates)
More than likely he’ll be going to prison!
All because he was running at night with no lights and not maintaining his lane!
You still want to give this clown a free pass?
    The State of Missouri sure as h e l l ain’t!
