Here’s another crazy thought, but what if the rate started out higher but the truckers competed against each other and drove the rate down until the load had to move? Yes 47% is a lot, but nobody knows all the circumstances around this load. And at the end of the day the now out of business trucker felt the rate was good enough to get it on her trailer.

Possibility could very well be broker had long term contact in place with shipper and now being so many are out here hauling for fuel money broker end up keeping a lot.

If you want better customers you have to go find them but you can't do that since you aren't a Carrier. Go get your own authority and your own customers. Otherwise, your crying sounds very foolish. Stop hauling THEIR freight and move on with your life. -
If anything It's too many trucks and too many trucks hauling for fuel money rates.
However even that isnt really a problem because the cheap rates forces more and more people out of business which we're currently seeing and then that temporary too many truck problem goes away. -

In fact I just said a possibility is broker had a longer term contract in place.
