Still right side up. Pretty slim pickings on Ak freight right now. I'm really hoping for a load before Xmas. Want to bring a snowmobile with me and stake some claims that are expiring alongside mine. Before some other idiot with bigger balls than brains decides to ride 50 miles in the bush after them.

You ever use one of those old cat hose presses to remove/install those reusable cat hyd fittings? I'm fed up driving 9 hours round trip dealing with hoses.
Your neighbor Jay Pay Dirt and I have messaged back and forth about a hose press he might sell. Waiting on a price from him.

 

I've watched them use a press a thousand times but never done it myself. Seems like Jeff just bought one in the last year. I don't keep up with him very closely though.

 

It would take a bit of investment in hose and fittings as well as the press, but only take a few to pay for itself.

Do you have a mine going?

 

2 years ago I did some large scale test pits. This last year sluiced a bit over 10,000 yards. It's a steep learning curve but it's turning into a solid enterprise.
