Well, I think my good luck is running out!
1st- My windshield wiper came on by itself yesterday! The weather was a nice 82* It did 1 swipe, just enough to spread the bug guts ALL over my windshield!
2nd- I have this very weird sound that only happens below 30 mph-usually upon acceleration, sounds like the engines taking a fart!. Its very annoying! More like there is a miss or something!
3rd- Arrow said there was a few things they had to do before I bought the Truck, like Oil Change , grease and lube everything, well I think they got that part right! for I have grease every where!
4th and the one that really worries me, I warm my truck up for approx. 10 mins.just so all the oil gets to every nock and cranny. well the other morning I let her warm up as usual, did my lil walk around and took off! As I was accelerating to get on the freeway A VERY LOUD PINGING/KNOCKING noise came from the block! It lasted for about 3 mins then went away! She will be in the shop come monday morning.![]()

Was your truck Cummins or Volvo power? Very loud pinging and knocking can mean running lean on fuel (low fuel pressure, wrong injector signals, etc), and the acceleration problem might point in that direction too. Did it throw any codes at you when it happened, or afterward? -
Has anyone ( mechanics ) verified that you have the CORRECT air compressor on the truck.
Had air problems on a used KW years back they gave the run around from dealer I bought it from.
Stopped at a rinky dink truck shop 1 day in Tenn , greasemonkey took 1 look and said Wrong Thing ma giggy its output is too small ( his words ) .
Turns out original compressor had died anmd someone just popped on a new one they had in stock. -

I have air gremlins as well. No alarms, it just leaks down sometimes when I park. I need to learn how to change and repair the fittings.

I agree, dont try an buy a truck or lease if you dont have at least $4000 in the bank.Lone Mountain requires a deposit $2500 uo to $3500.My friend bought from them, reputable dealer.
Hills bros, is a goog company, they have company drivers. It would be in your best interrest to start out as one 1st.Then when you can put a large down payment on the truck of your choice, from a dealer, with a warrenty.
Ive been driving for 25 years, companies are doing whatever they can to stay afloat. There are very few that you can trust,in a lease purchase.I dont trust any of them.To many horror stories. Good luck. -
I took the Truck back to the dealer this morning. Had to have the Tensioner pulley replaced, plus they put on a new belt!. The knocking noise is still an issue(?) after they replaced the belt and tensioner, the knocking stopped!
Arrow is a Reputable Dealer in my book! they took care of the problem. now If I can only find a mattress the one I have is like sleeping on plastic! -
As far as the mattress is concerned, there's a few options I'm looking into myself. For the time being, I resolved the issue with an egg crate foam mattress cover about 3 inches thick, with a heavy mattress pad (actual padding, not a cover) on top of that. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between the bed in the truck and the one at home (and there was a HUGE difference in the cost!). Speaking of bed - I'll catch you folks tomorrow -
What kind do you want? Tempurpedic? Feather?

There's a replacement mattress made by InnerSpace that sounds good in the advertising...... now if I could find one somewhere to check it out. The same company also makes sheet sets fitted to their mattresses (4 different sizes depending on what you have).
I am NOT going to return ship a mattress and wait for a refund
