Criminal speeding ticket in Kingman Arizona

I don’t know about other states for sure, but in Nebraska, if you have a CDL, you can’t take a safety course to remove the ticket.

 

Dont eff around in Arizona with out of state plates ... california plates ... or fleet plates. As is pretty much everywhere ... this is definitely a policing for profit and regulating for revenue state. A few of the micro manhood DPS Commercial Enforcement guys in northern AZ have retired. But the smallest of the lil wang big ego crew got given his shiny badge and supreme authritaaaay this last year. He likes to torment the end dump guys running the mines in southern AZ, but uses all that ticket money to run around the state with flash enforcement squads. The new DPS Col is one of those up the quota ... citations and arrests over public protection mentally ill wack jobs too.

As for the op ... you were probably required by company policy to notify your job immediately when you were cited. But, since you didn't. And pled down. If its not on your MVR ... you're in the clear if you keep your mouth shut. Definitely do not tell anyone you work with about any of this. Snitches get off on being able to taddle.

As far as I know .. as stated before .. if you have a CDL in the state of Arizona, ticket forgiveness with driving class for no points is not a thing. Maybe your attorney worked it out with the judge ... a quick dmv pull will tell you everything

Drive safe ... really. Stop speeding, you're a "professional" .... and as you know, you're livelyhood is greatly effected by your actions

 

Some state do not allow CDL holders to have roadside charges reduced using traffic school. The attorney may or may not have known of that if his business is mostly reckless 4-wheel customers.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY EVERYONE FEELS COMFORTABLE WITH "GOING WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC IF THAT MEANS SPEEDING 15 MPH OVER THE SPEED LIMIT. It's like telling your doctor "I can't have lung cancer I smoked an average number of cigarettes for 30 years."

 

Yep you just got to make sure your not the vehicle in front as that is the one the police are going to get on their radar.

 

This from the guy who, parks on ramps illegally, parks on the shoulder illegally, parks in the fuel island for his 30 min. break or more, drives in the middle of 3 lanes, when trucks have to pass him on the right...
