Back in the late 89s-early 90s, I worked for a Target DC in Woodland, Ca. About 65% of the good received were called "Flow" and went straight to shipping and out to the stores. I was told by the DC manager that they get an electronic invoice almost immediately that offers a 1% to 3% discount if paid within a certain time frame, like maybe 10 days. He said that they took advantage of that because by that time, the items had already been sold and it was like using the vendors money all along.

I had it out with Safeway back in 93, haven't messed with those losers since. They have always been a nightmare to deliver to...apparently they have only managed to get worse.PaulMinternational and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

So I just delivered walmart load 20 hours early. I did call the warehouse and was able to change the delivery date and time. Would $500 fee still apply?

That depends on whether or not some broker gets offended.Lukas1531 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

Yeah I know, but I was just wondering if walmart might have an issue with that. I was told by the broker it was the Wal-Mart policy so I'm just wondering if since I did it by the book with walmart, is it possible they would still charge me.
