Im not gonna comment on the city of NY awarding contracts to companies based on their ethnic background or national heritage or whether or not someone chopped their #### off-and that somehow makes someone suitable to perform contracted work for the city.
However: there ought to be some basic standard of equipment to complete a job.

The crane is a 325 cat: they want to reach straight over the cab and take the first 14’ of product straight up over the cab.

the stupidity of this whole thing is mind numbing.
They been knew I was coming and with what, and that they needed equipment to off load it for 3 MONTHS






They swung the first unit over the cab of a cement mixer that was pumping off- he just yanked the truck the #### outta there til they get the rest off

2 trips to Northampton today. Took a legal load first thing this morning and dropped it…which I forgot to take a picture of…
Then a load of 82’ beams…
4pm and I’m done
Gee it’s great to be retired

 

Only pic I grabbed this week. Nice little 5 stop load I did Monday. Managed 2400 miles, 11 deliveries & back in yard at 11 today.

 

Is that “8” chains just over the top alone ? How many including the belly wraps ?

 

This piece is part of the counter jib for the tower crane, it was Oversize, a whopping 103” wide , due to where it was going and the Local “Barney Five” Cop(has a reputation), I flagged it and took the scenic route.

 

8. Things you can’t see on other side.

 

2.75 ours parked waiting at the Throgs Neck this morning. They had all the MTA bridges closed because of high wind. Allegedly only to empty tractor trailers, except they weren’t letting anybody across that I saw.

 

ND to TX….. permits were fun.
