That chicken place was pretty decent for the price. 10 dollars for 3 breasts, mashed potatoes, and Cole slaw. Would've been a 14 dollar meal at Popeye's

You're sure right about that. They're pretty cheap at that place and quite popular. Travis took so long to find me a load that day, I followed my nose to that place. I liked it and I liked the price too! I myself I'd try the catfish next time but they told me I'd have to call ahead. I'm headed down to Houston with a load of tofu. I'll finish it off tonight57 model, dwells40 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Got one of the best loads I've ever pulled this week. 6 pallets of bbq sauce weighing a whopping 12k from Sauer in Greenville SC to Fountain CO. 1500 miles of 9+mpg (not that we get any sort of fuel bonus, but it's still nice to do) and making awesome time. Did 508 miles from east of Nashville to the peelot in Booneville with 16 min left before I had to take a 30. Doesn't deliver til Friday morning. This was after a south Austin to Greenville run this weekend that I got a 34 out of at the house. I imagine I'll get a tater run back to MO for the weekend. Hoping the la veta pass behaves itself Friday lol.

You've put down some nice runs there. I'm on my back up to the yard from Baytown. I got a little flustered yesterday, but I wasn't concentrating. I kept missing the turn to get to the shipper, and the funny thing was, I'd been there before lolmdmgolfin Thanks this.

If anyone happens to be traveling I-26 WB from SC, someone apparently crash landed a prop plane on the interstate last night. Traffic backed up pretty far while they clean and investigate. And then the typical 20 minute backup for the work zone that seems like it'll never be completed.
At this point, I'd rather run I-95 from Richmond to Connecticut than deal with 26/40. I'm convinced the entire population of east TN and NC cause traffic as a hobby. Just an endless supply of Yukons, Equinoxes, Caravans, and Explorers ready to terrorize the streets at any time of day.dwells40, Friend, Lumper Humper and 1 other person Thank this. -
Man there was a thread started last night concerning that crash! That ish was crazy! They said the plane had an oil leak and more stuff. Don't think anyone died though. You're headed to Connecticut? That's been some time since I've heard anyone head that way. It's been a couple of years since I went there. I'm about to hook up to a trailer to deliver in Olney later today, then I gotta go to PalmyraLumper Humper Thanks this.

I'm headed from Greenville towards home with this load. Swapping with another driver in Knoxville tomorrow morning and he's running this one to New Century and I'm dropping his in St. Joseph on Monday. I was just meaning I-26/40 is getting brutal lol.
They got the plane crash cleaned up pretty quick. Both lanes are back open and you would've never known it ever happened. Craziest part is it was only a couple miles from the airport. I guess the landing went south in a hurry.
Be safe on your way to Palmyra. Should be decent weekend miles with that round trip.dwells40, Friend, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's crazy as hell to be that close to the airport and then a crash. You'll finally get to the dentist?

Something seems a little off with this trailer over in Palmyra lol
mdmgolfin and Lumper Humper Thank this. -
The trailer had trenchfoot, had to get amputatedFriend and bryan21384 Thank this.
